Three Januaries, three letters. I have been selected to the 2026 Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, which makes it three consecutive years: 2024, 2025, and now 2026.
I will keep the speech short, because the third one is less about a moment and more about a pattern. The Rising Stars list is rebuilt from scratch every year, through peer nominations, independent research, and evaluations by other attorneys, and no more than 2.5 percent of Florida lawyers make it in any year. Three selections in a row means the lawyers who watch my work most closely keep reaching the same verdict, and that is the only kind of streak worth having in this profession.
What has not changed in those three years is the job. Standing next to one person, or one family, while something much larger bears down on them. Explaining everything in plain English. Being brutally honest about the strengths and the weaknesses of a case, and preparing every file as if a jury will see it. The listing lives on my Super Lawyers profile, and the promise behind it lives in every client meeting.
To the colleagues who keep putting my name forward, and to the clients of the past three years who are the real reason the letters keep coming: thank you. You’re better Safir than sorry.
